Shaina Varela

Shaina has worked as an elementary school and middle school teacher for several years in NH, prior to becoming a counselor. As a counselor, she has worked at a residential center and later on as a therapist at a community mental health center where she worked with students from kindergarten through high school. Her counseling work experience is mainly in individual counseling and group counseling. She is currently a licensed school counselor in NH and MA. Shaina recognizes the importance of demonstrating patience and understanding students’ diverse needs. Her education and experience have helped her apply her skills to counsel effectively with knowledge in various theories and techniques, utilizing compassion and empathy to help students grow, develop, and thrive.
